COA required for unconsented 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, large deck over 1.5 m high, all carried out approx. 25 years ago by unknown owner.
Our property had 2 bedrooms and bathroom and deck added with no CCC. Another consultant advised it was to risky to mess with. Dave provided good initial consultation and clear advice as to process to rectify. He oversaw work and linked in contractors as needed. Managed council well and helped manage costs. Successfully gained COA and peace of mind. Dave stepped us through a complex range of issues with his building and process knowledge. Very reasonable fees - highly recommended. COA required for unconsented internal changes, removed wall, new bathroom etc.
Dave has been absolutely amazing !!! We were in a very stressed state and Dave was so calm and put us at ease straight away. Nothing was a problem and he went above and beyond to help us. He sorted out our COA for a removed wall, relocated bathroom, relocated kitchen, relocated laundry and new toilet in our 100 year old house. Dave also drew new plans as the latest set Council had were dated 1927!! I can't recommend him highly enough!! Thank you so so much Dave.

Assistance with un consented tiled showers while Building Consent for other work taking place.
I highly recommend Dave. Right from the first conversation, Dave gave us awesome information and navigated the process with council for us. His testing and inspection of the house as well as the docs he supplied to council were excellent and the COA was approved without any delay. Thanks for all your help and reassuring us during a stressful time. Regards, Tim, North Shore.
Help with unconsented tiled shower.
After discovering we needed a COA for our tiled shower we contacted Dave for advice. He has been so helpful, and we have called him numerous times for advice. He and his tiler, Andrew, both came and gave advice and suggestions for rectifying our issues. Can not recommend Dave highly enough for his helpfulness and nothing was ever a problem. Historic 1998 Building Consent to extend kitchen footprint in 90 year old Californian bungalow. CCC Required.
Dave was excellent to work with and helped our family get a CCC for a kitchen addition. Dave is trustworthy, responsive, friendly and professional. There were some significant time pressures to obtain the CCC from Council as our house was under contract. He made a potentially stressful process hassle free. Our family is enormously grateful to Dave as we were able to sell our home after receiving CCC. All done in record time. We would 100% recommend Dave without hesitation.

Un-consented bathroom and removed wall in basement area historically carried out. Owner required a Certificate of Acceptance for work.
I had a great experience working with Dave for the unconsent work at my property. He helped me gain the COA and was a reliable and trustworthy professional throughout the process. I appreciate all the effort he put in and highly recommend his services. Thank you, Dave!

Certificate of Acceptance required from Auckland Council for basement bathroom installed in the late 1990's and unconsented, with shower, toilet and vanity. Installed before client purchased house.
I've had some bad experiences with tradies in the past, but Dave was great. Honest, diligent and a good communicator. Achieved a good result and kept me up to date during the CoA process. Cheers Dave

Third Party Property report and plans for pre 1992 non-permitted work of shower and vanity in existing laundry lodged on property file. COA not available for Pre 1992 work.
Third party property report by Dave. Great work & a genuine person. You are lucky if you find him. I gave up on the requirements of the consent work for old renovations done ages ago. All Thanks to Dave for driving that far & putting confidence in me. The way Dave managed & work through the process with WDC wasn't easy. He kept chasing them & achieved the required consent work. Dave has Great knowledge towards all the consent works plus his charges are reasonable & worth it for his quality work.

COA required for 2 tiled showers (waterproofing) Block wall opening for access and moved kitchen.
When were told we needed to attain a COA, I simply googled those three little letters. Up came an image of Dave at his workboard and, after a quick phone call and a site visit, he was in. He went above and beyond for us and has a vast knowledge of Council and the intricacies of what is needed in the process. We now have our much-needed COA. Thank you so much Dave - for your patience and persistence - we are very grateful and it was a pleasure working with you.

COA required for kitchen relocation, laundry relocation and moved /rearranged study to bedroom area (bracing wall)
Dave and his vast knowledge has been brilliant in the journey of successfully attaining a COA for our house. He worked through the different hurdles needed from understanding the brief, knowing the process, what level of compliance needed and interacting with tradies. Highly recommend Dave and CCC BUILDING SERVICES LTD

New bathroom and laundry in garage, Certificate of Acceptance required.
Dave did an amazing job. He was so efficient and professional. We renovated our bathroom and got a new shower and tub in the laundry. Dave helped us make sure everything was squared away before going to council so we wouldn't have any push back from them and we didn't. It was so good that council didn't even need to come for a site visit and all the documents and photos were sufficient. Thanks Dave.

2006 Building Consent to relocate house that had stalled long ago and required final inspection and CCC.
David helped steer me efficiently through an old building Consent from 2006 through Council with a great result. Highly recommend his expert assistance for anyone trying to navigate the CCC process.

New house build with builder not helping owner with CCC application.
I highly recommend Dave for his exceptional assistance in obtaining our CCC. When we were stuck between an unhelpful builder and a bewildering council, Dave stepped in as our saviour. He took immediate ownership of the situation, demonstrating a deep understanding of council operations and the right contacts to make things happen. With Dave's expertise, we successfully secured our CCC, and I wholeheartedly endorse his invaluable support for anyone seeking assistance with similar challenges.

Kitchen moved into opposite end of house, new bath tub fixture. COA required.
Highly recommend Dave. He managed the process and dealings with council and the COA was approved with no issues. Could not have been an easier process.

Shower with waterproofing membrane and deck over 1.5 m high required Building Consent. COA required
Dave was highly recommended to us, and he did not disappoint. From the first call to the issuance of the Certificate of Acceptance, Dave was professional, practical, and delivered what we agreed. He clearly has an intimate knowledge of the relevant legislation and the workings of Council. Being an LBP was invaluable, as Dave undertook some building work onsite that finding a builder for was proving very difficult. We would highly recommend Dave to anyone looking for a CoA from Auckland Council.

Sale and purchase agreement in place when pre purchase inspection highlighted the 1970's built apartment had a cedar cavity cladding system and not the original direct fix. COA required for unconsented non like for like cladding replacement.
We used Dave during a stressful time needing urgent COA on our property. He worked diligently and navigated a lot of uncertainty with new legislation, keeping us informed every step of the way. Our situation was gnarly, and ever-evolving. He was compassionate, easy to get hold of, and proactive with problem solving. He wholeheartedly cares about his customers. Highly recommend him!

Sale and purchase agreement in place when 22 year old garage Building Consent with no CCC showed on LIM. Garage built 2 owners before client purchsed. Work required, increase cladding to ground clearance and certified drainlayer to pipe SW correctly.
Dave was very helpful doing all the work and getting CCC for us . Always available on the phone whenever we need to ask something. Highly recommend

House sale signed then old unfinished Consent cropped up with no CCC
I was in a state of panic, I never realised that the installer that installed the fireplace 25 years prior had never applied for the CCC that we had actually paid for. COA looked like the only option. Found CCC Building Services on the net, Dave gave me heaps of free advice on what I needed to do but for me it was all to hard, so I asked Dave to handle everything. BEST MOVE EVER!!! Dave said nope we can get a CCC and within 15 working days I had a CCC. Dave is a Legend, thanks so much

Help with property file and amending wrong historic information.
What a godsend this man is, honest and knowledgeable. First contact through a phone call he explained the whole situation and steps of the process we needed to do to sort out our problem with un-authorised works. I recommend Dave 100%.
Help with owner applied COA stalled in Council
I was put onto Dave through a Real Estate Agent. He came out to the property to look at the unconsented works on the property and talked me through the process of obtaining a COA from the Council. His knowledge of the process and the legislation was excellent. He was professional in his manner and extremely reassuring of what needs to get done in order for everything to get sorted. I highly recommend Dave.
New house with missed storage area on its CCC
I bought a new house with an unconsented storage area in my house and could not get it complied, all those involved pointed the finger of blame at each other. Dave turned up and sorted it all out and I got a Certificate of Acceptance from Auckland Council. Dave's tenacity was incredible - he never gave up. I would totally recommend Dave to anyone requiring his services - he went above and beyond for us.

Sleepout in Versatile garage changed to habitable space, 3rd bedroom
I employed Dave to get a bedroom in the garage consented to be a legal habitable space. He made the whole process SO easy. Keep me updated as to progress regularly. Co-ordinated getting work done with the tenant. It made a process that for a lay person is very complicated and time consuming possible. I would never have got the COA if it was left to me, so big thanks to Dave. Money well spent.

I can recommend Dave if you need COA to be done. He is friendly, takes away all of the hassle, and gets everything sorted quickly. Dave is a pleasure to deal with.

Historically and 2 owners before our client purchased his home, 2 load bearing walls were removed combined with a new 2nd bathroom and filled in verandah.
I couldn't recommend Dave more, we were very lucky to come across him after discovering a consent issue with our house we are selling. Dave was able to walk us through exactly what we needed to do, giving great advice and reassurance. When other contractors weren't coming through quick enough he was all over chasing them up. Thankyou Dave.

Two new bathrooms in a 1920's bungalow with, tiled showers, internal toilet cisterns etc.
We had some un-consented changes with new bathrooms in our house. Unlike quotes from other companies who only write a COA report, CCC Building Services drew the plans, wrote the COA report, tidied up some little jobs, chased up all the tradesman/files and handled the submission to Council. This worked out much easier and cheaper than getting a COA report and trying to project manage it all myself. Pay the money, get it done properly, Dave takes the stress out of it. Recommended to all.

Pre purchase investigation of unconsented second toilet.
My partner and I are first home buyers and we were looking at buying a property with an unconsented second toilet. We had been calling the council and other companies to get an idea of how much it would cost for us to get a CoA or Consent but were having no luck. Dave was very friendly and helped answer all of our questions. He really helped us to understand what our options were and explained everying in a way which put us back in control. 100% would recomend working with Dave!
6 year old non consented conversion of garage to sleepout with bathroom bedroom and living area.
We were put in contact with Dave by a real estate agent. We purchased a 3 brm 1 bathroom property with a non- consented garage to sleepout conversion connected to our house. Dave gave us a letter for the bank to say it should be able to get a COA and he and his trade contacts did all the work required, submitted the Certificate of Acceptance application to council and now it is a legal habitable space comprising of 4 brm and 2 bathroom. Dave have done an amazing job. We have no problem at all

25 year old unfinished building consent and CCC and 18 year old Minor dwelling requiring CCC MASSEY
Dave has worked with the council on our behalf to obtain two CCC’s for a minor dwelling built 18 yrs ago and an addition done over 25 yrs ago. He dealt with all problems that were uncovered – electrical, cladding queries and a major drainage issue to name some. He kept us updated throughout the process and always had the skills and contacts to tackle everything. Dave did a fantastic job; we could never have achieved this so seamlessly and quickly on our own. Thank you Dave!

Granny Flat, unconsented bathrooms
Dave was fantastic. Right away expectations were set, timeframes were realistic and understood as were the costs. He was always available to address any concerns or help with guidance when necessary. He was on site when needed and always timely. He even took a load of rubbish to the tip for us !! Talk about above and beyond. I'll have no trouble recommending Dave and would go on to say even if we didn't get our COA, that I'd have still written this same review. He did get it for us though :-D

Old lapsed historical uncompleted building consent with problematic new consent finishing off original consents work.
I purchased a modest unfinished small house. It had an old outstanding building consent with no final inspection or CCC issued, much of the build information was missing. I hired an architect to make the house bigger. We made a mistake in that we did not amend and add this extra building work to the original historic building consent, instead we started a new building consent to do the new building work. Unbeknown to us the old building consent with no CCC stuck to the property file & proved difficult to get signed off. Dave succeeded where others failed & helped us get this resolved & signed off.

Final stalled by no amendment for missing walls. added stairs, changed windows, plumbing, fire reports, drawing as built plans etc.
Thanks CCC building services for all your help in sorting out and gaining CCC for our confusing factory office extensions in a competent way. To anyone out there. Dave took on the project of the company and worked his way through our unfinished 2006 building consent in 2020 dealing with Auckland Council, organizing professionals and tradesman, drawing amended plans for our missing walls, added stairs, changed windows, plumbing, drainage, he organized fire reports. All done in a friendly manner.

Certificate of Acceptance required.
I was put in contact with Dave through a consultant and I could not rate him highly enough. I had to obtain a COA on our commercial property and Dave made the process seem so painless!! He took over the matters, worked closely with the council, liaised with all contractors and above all he did this without a hiccup! His precision, turnaround time and his ongoing follow up is definitely a standard that has raised the bar altogether. Dave will be my "go to" for all COA matters. Hands down the best.

Certificate of Acceptance required for added bathroom.
I struggled to find someone locally (Otago) to help with our COA issues and contacted Dave for advice after finding him. He ended up being able to help remotely and took a lot of the stress out of the process, dealing with the council and organizing inspections etc. I would not hesitate to recommend his services. Thanks Dave!

Certificate of Acceptance required for added toilet/verandah.
I’ve recently purchased a house with a lot of unconsented work. Included a enclosed veranda, incorrectly installed log burner and a new bathroom all of which needed immediate repairs and Certificate of Acceptance. Not only did Dave get the required paperwork sorted, saving us the hassles of dealing with the red tape, he also arranged with his contacts to have electrical work done as well as the roof repairs which was required. HI highly recommend his services to anyone requiring compliance work.

Changes to added bathroom.
Dave is great. Initially made contact for help with a COA but after talking it through we decided it was best to replace the original bathroom. Dave did most of the work himself, even after hours. Great communication and kept us updated with timeframe and cost. Definitely worth a call if you want honest and helpful advice for dealing with council. Thanks Dave.
PS all plumbing done by a registered plumber.

Notice to Fix / Added bathroom
We added a bathroom and laundry that needed a Certificate of Acceptance. Some work was done by us, some by the previous owners. Dave was professional, very helpful. We would recommend this service to anybody in need of a CoA/CCC.
